From 1 November, zoo visitors will no longer pay full admission but can visit the zoo at discounted winter prices. The price differentiation between summer and winter prices was made in connection with the necessary price adjustment, which has been valid since 1 July 2024. While zoo visitors pay the regular ticket prices from March to the end of October, the zoo offers a winter discount for the cooler months from the beginning of November to the end of February. Adults pay just 16 euros instead of 19 euros for a day ticket, children pay 8 euros instead of 10 euros, and families with two adults and up to three children pay 43 euros instead of 55 euros. The new “Small Family” ticket for one adult and up to three children is still available for purchase and now costs 30 euros instead of 38 euros. The winter discount cannot be granted on vouchers and annual tickets, as these are valid all year round.

With the opening of the orangutan house in June this year, the zoo has gained an attractive new draw for visitors, making a visit in winter even more worthwhile and less dependent on the weather. Visitors can also observe animal inhabitants up close in the Professor Brandes House, the Africa House or the Giraffe House, as well as warm up and linger on cold days.
