New admission prices

Campaigns | 1 July 2024

New admission prices apply from Monday 1 July. We have created some new ticket categories to ensure that we remain affordable for Dresden residents and families. The new “Small Family” category (day pass €38 / annual pass €103), for example, makes a family ticket affordable for single parents. Another new feature is that holders of the Dresden Pass now get a discount on family tickets and reduced-price tickets. This reduction was previously only available for individual adult and child tickets. From 1 July, the Dresden Pass discount will also be applied to ticket purchases upon presentation of any Saxon municipal pass for low-income earners.
Although prices for day passes have gone up (adults now pay €19, children €10, and families €55), an annual pass still pays for itself in just three visits to the Zoo. For children under the age of three, admission remains free.
With the introduction of seasonal admission prices, ticket prices will return to their previous level from the end of October. The winter reduction applies from 1 November to the end of February. And with the newly opened orangutan house, there is even more to discover during the colder months of the year.
