Donations
Your donations to our giraffe and zebra enclosure
We are still overwhelmed by the number of donations we received to help usbuild our orangutan house. It is thanks to the support of many friends and sponsors of the zoo that we have been able to complete this mammoth project, and we are delighted that our orangutans finally have a spacious and comfortable enclosure. The expansion of the giraffe and zebra enclosures is currently very close to our hearts. We have to finance the project entirely on our own and therefore hope for the support of our visitors and associates. Thanks to a large donation from the Friends of the Zoo, we have already been able to initiate the project. Now, we need your help to finalise it.
Our next major project is the construction of a new petting zoo. Plans for this are just getting started. The petting zoo will enable us to bring in many more animal species and offer a whole host of additional opportunities for play and discovery. Construction is expected to start in 2026. Fundraising for this project will gather pace once we have drawn up our plans.
You can donate to the expansion of the giraffe and zebra enclosure using our donation form (german language) or you can make a bank transfer to our donation account:
