Children's Day

Calling all kids! To mark International Children’s Day on 1 June, we’re offering a great zoo experience. Enjoy a fun-filled stage show with Princess Frechericke, an upside-down fairy tale, along with face painting, arts and crafts, a children’s carousel, 3D printing and the Glöckchen puppet theatre. There’s also an otter activity stand, where you can learn fascinating facts about our smooth-coated otters and test your knowledge with a quiz and fun things to do. Our zookeepers have also come up with activities for our younger visitors to enjoy and look forward to seeing you at our hangouts.

Children can visit the zoo for half the usual admission on the day.
