Accessibility
We aim to offer all visitors easy access for a visit that is rich in experience. Upon arrival, we have two disabled parking spots available, while the tram stop area outside the zoo has been sunk to facilitate wheelchair access. Tickets to the Zoo can be purchased at a reduced price, and for those accompanying disabled visitors, admission is free.
Plus our broad, paved walkways allow everyone to explore the entire site with ease. The animal enclosures and houses as well as all localities provide easy access (no steps). We also aim to offer all of our visitors exciting views with full-length windows and spacious enclosure design.
Disabled toilets are located at the entrance area, in the Penguin Café and at the Africa House, and are specially marked in the zoo map.
Wheelchairs are available to borrow free of charge on request for visitors with limited mobility. These can be reserved on +49351 - 47 80 60 for your visit to the zoo.
