Getting here and parking

Dresden Zoo is located right in the centre of the state capital Dresden, and is therefore very easy to reach by car, by public transport and by bike. The Zoo is around 20 minutes’ walk from Dresden Central Station (Dresden Hauptbahnhof).

By public transport

You can reach the Zoo easily and conveniently by public transport, which is operated by DVB (Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe).

Tram:

9 and 13: Zoo stop

11: Lennéplatz stop


Bus:

68: Zoo stop


Train:

via the main station "Hauptbahnhof" or station "S-Bahnhof Strehlen": within 20 or 10 minutes walking distance, respectively

 

By car

Dresden Zoo is located in the centre of the state capital Dresden. Simply follow the signs for “Zentrum” and then “Zoo”. You can use your route planner to find the best route for you.

The zoo car park is located directly opposite the main entrance on Tiergartenstraße.
